  Indoor Air Quality Testing

On top of making sure your ducts are clean, you may also want to check to see how clean the air is you are breathing. When you are circulating the same air through your house 50 times a day why not make sure it is clean? At Maynard, we go the extra mile to make sure your HVAC equipment is not only functioning properly and contributing to your comfort, safety, and most of all your health properly.

According to the EPA, indoor air quality may be 2 to 5 times more polluted than outside air quality. Your home can trap pollutants inside and this can lead to an unhealthy living environment. Sadly, the more energy efficient the home is the more likely this is the case. These pollutants can trigger allergies and asthma especially among children under 17. Unhealthy air also can cause headaches, scratchy throat, nasal irritation, fatigue, and even nausea. All of these symptoms can often be mistaken for the common cold or even the flu.

At Maynard, we work with you and walk you through the air quality in your home. We will go over your humidity level in your home. We will check carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide on top of that to make sure your home is at optimum air quality. We will go over all of these with you and work with you to select the solution that is right for you.
